went to start my 2002 996 the other day and it just cranks over without firing. Strange as it was running ok the day b4.
Checked all fuses and ok, but no power getting to the fuel pump fuse. Where is the relay associated to the to the fuel fuel pump?

Help as this is anoying me now. Thks

The fuel pump relay is in position 13. The relay support is in the driver's footwell.

Are you sure its not just flooded ??

If so remove all of the fuses to do with fuel. Make sure the circuit with the starter motor is still live and then crank it over for a few seconds. Replace the fuses and try again.

A similar thing happened to my Bosses 996 Cab and thats what Zentrum told him to do and it worked.

Richard might have more ideas on this

took the fuel pump relay out, tested it and it was ok, cleaned the contacts, put it back in and it fired up first turn of the key..............

got a new relay ordered so will put that in tmw

thanks for your help
