996 rear spoiler ?

Without wanting to upset any purists, I find the original rear spoiler of the 996 bland compared too the gt2 style.

My question is, I have just purchased a 2003 996 convertible 3.6 and wondered if it is possible to by an original spec gt2 style rear spioler ?

I wouldnt want any copy type but an original porsche one.

Cheers in advance.

The GT2 has the wide-body (J-Lo) rear end from the Turbo body shell. The narrow-body (Kylie) Carrera C2 and C4 have a different engine cover, so it wouldn't be a simple job to fit a GT2 spoiler to a C2 or C4. If you have a C4S Cabriolet then you should be OK.

If you have a C2 or C4, then I think the Carrera Rear Spoiler looks good from 'most' angles...

Couldn't agree more, loads of people have said how good the Carrera spoiler looks on my car:

Yeah... it does look great from all angles... but directly behind, where it looks a bit stuck up in the air.

It's grown on me to the point I'll not revert back to the motoristed stock version (sorry Richard [:)])
