... are getting a bit low. Discs look fine. I recall previous advice to go for Textar pads, but they seem unavailable. I notice that other makes are listed as being with and without roller weights. (Do roller weights reduce vibration/squeal, etc?) What should I choose?

Yes, the things that look like rollers are part of the anti-squeal shims. There's mixed views on re-using them - given the metalwork doesn't get worn, I don't see any reason not to re-use them with new pads, providing you can get them off the old ones! If you do re-use them, put a layer of CERA-TEC lubricant between pad and shim.
design911.com do a nice range of pads of different "strengths" including Textar:

They sell the wear sensors too, but again these only need replacing if they actually activated - and you can get them out of the old pads without damaging them.

The roller weights are not anti squeal pads, two different things, both are there to try and stop squeal/vibration
You are quite right in Textar not doing weighted pads for the turbo, Pagid and ATE do weighted pads
Have you got any photos? I am now intrigued!
