Just returned from my first proper drive out in my new 996 TT, 2000mls in one week in Scotland. If I die right now I will die a happy man. Only one problem, when it went dark I had to slow down because the Bi-Zenon headlights were truly tragic. They were ok on dipped beam, when I switched to main beam there was a great big shadow right in the field of view so I couldn't see properley. Do other Bi-Zenon owners have the same view ! ( sorry ) or is there something wrong with my lights.

No problems with mine as you describe, if it is brand new then return it to the OPC for the lights to be set correctly, most new cars fail their first MOT due to incorrectly set headlights.
Mine has been in and gave a much better viewing at night after being adjusted correctly on dipped headlights ...way too many people flashing me prior( it also lit the underside of trees quite nicely[&:])
