Does anyone here run a 996 Turbo with an Akrapovic Evolution system?

I ask as I've chance to purchase a new system. A mate works for a manufacturer who is starting to work with Akrapovic, and was cheeky for me - page 56 of the Akrapovic brochure is a 996 Turbo system, and I wondered what any existing owners thought.

I have thought about a Cargraphic or Europipe system but the chance of the Akrapovic has come up and I've said yes - so it's too late if an existing owner says there are kak.

My main concern is the db level - will the missus (it's her car) still get on 98db track days?

The titanium system ?

Don't worry about the noise, as if the wife complains you wont be able to hear her [:)]

LOL - hmmm, yes it is the titanium system, and the missus is very unlikey to complain - it is her car; her other track day car is a bit more musical 32 valve, 4 litre V8 plastic missile. The 996 Turbo just doesn't sound "right", so she didn't really complain - more like, get that lovely little car sounding a bit better else you've run out of luck sunshine!

Not that I'm under the thumb, you understand.

Seriously - her V8 Scimtar, which is as quick as the Turbo, sounds lovely and comes in at 98db - so she can use that on any track day - I'd hate to have to limit the porky track days to 105db days, but if so....
