Hi all,
I'm in the midst of arranging for a complete suspension overhaul for my 996 Turbo and so far have managed to pull together everything I need with the exception of front springs, which seems to be rare as hen's teeth! I believe the part number for a car with the standard suspension is 996 343 533 38 504, but I can't find any vendor in the UK, Europe or USA that seems to have them in stock. I've reached out to Teile, but not heard anything back yet. The closest I've been able to track down is part number 996 343 533 39 504 which some American Porsche sites list as being compatible with a Turbo Cabrio but I'm not sure if the US spec car had any differences to be aware of?
On the basis that new OEM springs are now unobtainium, are their any known OEM equivalent springs that would be a drop in replacement? My preference is to keep everything as close to factory as possible and avoid lowering the car's ride height or making the ride harsher.
Any pointers gladly received!
