996 Turbo Cabriolet cleaning rear hood storage area?

Hi,

please can someone tell me the best way to clean (vac) or get acces to the carpeted area at the rear where the hood is stored?

Hi, If you part open the roof, so that the front is about a foot from the screen and then stop the opening. Go to the rear sides of the vehicle and below each side inside the hood is a cable, if you feel under and so the cable faces forward you can then unclip them. Unclip both sides and you can then lift the rear of the hood and screen up. This gives you good access to the rear storage carpet were dust settles and you can also clean the inside of the screen easily. Make sure you attach both cables before continuing the cycle of the hood once you have finished. I can send you a link with pictures if you find my explanation confusing. Regards Graeme
