Yes....as the above link. I was told by the OPC that if the radiators were porous or corroded then it was a valid warranty claim. If they were damaged by say a stone then it would be wear and tear and not covered.

I had the 111pt inspection in January so I was quite blunt with them that I expected the radiators to be covered under warranty as they are not fit for purpose if only last 4 years (and suprised they passed the inspection!). Didn't really have to argue and all works were done without me shouting or paying.

Hi How old was your car when they replaced them under warranty and what porsche centre did you use. And when was it done (changed) becuase i am going to go back and speak to customer services tomorrow

cheers phil

Phil

Car is a 2003 so out of original warranty but extended OPC warranty put on in January of this year after inspection by JCT Sheffield.

Specialist Cars of Malton performed the major service and advised of the issues with the radiators. They offered to replace (at a cost!) but I went to JCT Leeds and had them all done under the extended warranty. That was earlier this month.

Good luck

I've pick up the car saturday afternoon from OPC west london, after its minor service and 3 front radiators being changed. after much discussion with porsche cars reading they agreed to pay just under £900 towards the £1400 bill. i was fairly happy with that i probably could have pushed for more but i just wanted my car back asap.

cheers for all your help

Our Fiesta which is now my daily driver still has the original radiator fitted after 12 years of service.
The front of the car was hit in Febrauary and the car was written off too. I had the car bent back and new lights fitted. The Radiator is still fine [:D]
