I'm taking a touring holiday and my Miltek is just going to give my wife complaining rights. Standard quiet exhaust system wanted - maybe someone is planning to fit a sports exhaust and will take a reasonable sum for their standard system?

Hello Phil
No disrespect to you or your wife, but have you thought of alternatives... e.g. keep the Miltek but exchange the wife?
I asked my wife... TUBI or not to be.....[:D][;)]
Good Touring....

Always thought I'd keep mine to help sell on my car but could be tempted if the money was good enough, what figure did you have in in mind?

Well there are currently 2 standard turbo exhausts on ebay, one at £50 and the other at £100. Cheap enough to buy, use then sell on again.
Dave.

Thanks Dave - I have seen those but would like to buy off a club member as its impossible to know if you can trust descriptions and of course club members would be impeccably honest and trustworthy in their descriptions!

Marcus - what is condition of yours? Where are you located? I assume it's off car?

Sorry Phil, I think it's a non starter if you can pick them up for £50 on ebay. I was way off the mark, I've always thought it would be worth £250 to me. I have a techart on mine, so I'll keep it in my garage and offer it when I finally decide to sell my car.

You could try someone like JZM or Fearnsport ie someone who fits modded exhausts perhaps as they will have taken it off. I got mine from AMD (no longer around) as having thrown my original away when I had a Milltek fitted, I then ended up selling the Milltek when it had finally gotten on my nerves too much - I had it modified by Milltek 3 times as well!.

You dont know my wife! I asked her what she wanted for her birthday - she said a divorce. I said I wasn't planning to spend that much.....

well done Phil, pleased to hear you got sorted.
One of the things I'm considering is a GT2 style front and rear end.
Any of you boys had this mod or looked into it ?

I just have the turbo aerokit but even then I had to put a standard front p.u. on as kept getting smacked on bumps...
