Hey Guys,

I unfortunately need to sell my 996 Turbo in the next 2 months or so as I will be moving out of the UK. Is it best to go private or to aproach an OPC?

It has been well look aftered and really only been driven on the motorway.

Private will realise more money, has some risks, just don't accept bankers drafts or building society cheques (no, they are not as good as cash). Wait for funds to clear or if paid in cash (eek) then accompany them to your bank and pay it in before releasing the keys.

A dealer will be quicker and safer, but you will loose some money.

As this is a specialist model it can take time to shift. Get an initial price from Cameron / RSJ / Paragon and OPC, add 3k and try the private route out. You can always trade it after this.

There are alot of unrealisticly priced cars on the market that have been there for a long while. Fortunately you have a great spec colour and price.

Good luck.
