996 Turbo Fuel Pump Problem...

The Turbo is currently with my specialist (having arrived last night on a truck) following a failure of the fuel pump relay. The pump itself appears to be ok. Does the Turbo have any known fuel pump issues or is this likely to be a one off?

Apparently, the Turbo fuel pump draws more current than the Carrera (not surprising, I suppose) and although relay failures are rare, they do occur. I expect Tony eliminated the relay by bridging the terminals on the relay board, but if a new relay doesn't fix it, get him to check the fuel pump connector.

Sorted. New relay. Everything else tested and appears ok. I'm tempted to buy another relay and keep it in the glovebox just in case.
