996 Turbo LHD info ?

Welcome André!

I don't know anything about the car, I'm afraid. It looks very nice, but very pricy for a very early Turbo. I would have thought you could buy a much newer car for the same money - certainly in RHD.

Is it possible for me in Sweden, to see if a car in the UK is payed for, and not stolen ?
And get some additional info about the car.

I have the plate number and the vin number.
Any websites i can use to get more info about the car?

And when i export the car from UK, what papers do i need?
The V5C, and more?

Thanks alot

You can do a vehicle data check online. I use the RAC: http://www.rac.co.uk/products-services/car-data-checks/

It will tell you if the car is on the accident register, has finance outstanding (and in the past), has been stolen, previous registrations, etc. Under the circumstances, I would recommend an inspection by a specialist, such as Peter Morgan, who will include the history check. Not cheap, but it will give you some peace of mind.

I don't know what paperwork you will need to export the car, but I would think that it is more important to know what you need to import it into Sweden!

I used the HPI check from pistonheads website, and payed for it.
It turned out good, nothing to report.

Ok thanks Richard
