996 Turbo replacement tyres

Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good place to to get two replacement rear tyres for my 996 Turbo
Think they are 295/30 Zr18
Ideally I am looking for Continental Sport Contact 2's, best price I am have been quoted so far is £245 each fitted including balancing and vat. However I am also mindful of care being taken to fit them, and the air con line that runs down the side of the car not being pinched when they jack the car up to change the tyres.

I was also wondering if anyone has had experience of going down the Pirelli route eg P Zeros and what they think.

So if anyone can recommend a good place (somewhere in reasonable proximity to Cirencester/Gloucester or Swindon) to get the tyres where they take care of your car and wheels, then I would be keen to here from you you.

Many thanks

Barry

I cant advise on the different tyres, but Pirelli have an offer for PCGB members - 100 pound fuel card if you buy two or more tyres.

Hi,
Thanks for mentioning that Pirelli have an offer of a 100 pound fuel card for the purchase of replacement tyres, that is worth considering.

Hi Baz, I have recently had two front tyres fitted to my 996 turbo S by Kwikfit. Ordered on line and fitted within a few days on my drive. They are Michelins but they were the best price and the guy who fitted them was excellent. Wheels removed by hand (no gun) and car raised on inflatable jacks.

Hi Terry,
Just wanted to say thanks for the reply and that I will take a look at Kwikfit, I like the fact that they do the replacement tyres at your house and do not use air guns and torque the bolts correctly. To be honest I had not considered them previously.
