996 Turbo Servicing?

After swaying towards a 40th Anniversary 911 for a while, I've decided a Turbo is the only worthy replacement for my C4. After having another drive today in my brother's Turbo S, I was well and truly hooked. The torque is unbelievable. The main thing that was putting me off was the cost to maintain the things; however, my brother tells me that the servicing interval for the 996 Turbo is every two years. Would he be correct in saying this?

Cheers

Paul

On a post-2004 models (Turbo S's were only 2005) the Annual Service was dropped, giving a 2-year (or 12000 mile) service interval.

A 12000 service on a Turbo at an indy shouldn't be much more than a Carrera - there are only 3 extra drain plugs to undo and replace. The plug change is the main cause of the 24000 being higher, as the rear PU and intercoolers have to be removed to access them.

In that case, it's unusual that Wrightune don't list a 12,000 mile service for the Turbo, only 24 and 48k. Anyhow, those prices aren't a worry. As said in the other thread, I'd always be wondering when the right time to move onto a Turbo is, so it makes sense to just move onto one now.
