i am looking to change my 996 savannah to black. Is the 2003 porsche 911 interior door cards and seats the same fitting?
as alway grateful for all your expertise

I'm not sure what you refer to in the title (997) but the door cards and seats from a 2003 996 should fit a pre-facelift car. The 2003 door cards will have the side airbag covers, whereas an early 996 might not have side airbags. They should fit OK though.

The dash is different, as the later cars have a glove box. It can be fitted, with a bit of tweaking.

In regard to your earlier question about retrofitting heated seats. If the new seats have the heating elements, it is fairly easy to connect them uo to swotches on the centre console. If you are thinking about fitting heating elements to you existing seats it is a lot more complicated, and probably not practical.

If the original question was would the seats and door cards from a 997 fit the 996, then the answer is that the door cards won't (or at least it would be a huge amount of work) but the seats will physically fit - they have the same mounting points. The plugs for the electrics would need re-wiring though.
