996 wheel bearings

Does any one know if wheel bearings are covered by OPC warranty.

Hi Darren, It is a 2004 C4S, I purchased it from OPC in December, It came with a years warranty and I extended it for a further year at the time.

Either way it's a no unfortunately. They are not very expensive to fix 1 hours labour at an Indi and get the part yourself from Eurocarparts.

Be careful, though, because if you have an indi work or yourself work on the car, you'll invalidate your OPC warranty.. From policy booklet it states that the warranty will be invalid if... "Service, repair or maintenance has previously been performed on the Vehicle by You or by a third party who is not an authorised Porsche Centre/ Authorised Porsche Service Centre" So, unfortunately, you're stuck with an OPC to get the work done.
