I am looking for a :-

Porsche 911 2 Door Convertible 3.4 [CARRERA 4] 2001WINDOW REGULATOR/MECH ELECTRIC (FRONT DRIVER SIDE)

I can find passenger side regulators, does anyone know where I can buy a driver's side window regulator, happy with second hand, re-conditioned or have to remove from a scrapped vehicle

Thanks in advance

try porsch-apart (Simon Butterworth) . Passenger side ones are two-a-penny, driver's side are like rocking horse ****.

Repair kits are available if it is the cable that has gone (check ebay)

996 and 986 (boxster) are the same.

Cheers,

If you get a Boxer one remember to reposition the stop or I don't think it'll wind all the way down. A previous owner of my car replaced my passenger regulator and the window wont wind all the way down, and I think that's why...

I also made that schoolboy error when I changed line. its easily fixed once you get the door card off.

thanks for this - I have found a regulator at PORSCH-APART as recommended it was £120 but such is life
thanks again
