996c4S rear view door mirror

my 996 04 has developed a problem with the off side door mirror. the glass wobbles whilst driving. I have tried pressing the glass which helped for a while, but know the problem has returned. Any help ideas how to cure it.
 
Mine did the same a couple of years ago, the plastic mount that fixes the glass to the motor had unbonded. I removed the glass, cleaned up both surfaces and used some strips of double sided tape (the type with a thin layer of foam in the middle like the pads for fixing rear view mirrors) been fine ever since.
