996GT2 bumper on my 996tt

That looks sweet m8,I really like it.

If you don't mind me asking how much did it cost to change & where did you get the GT2 bumber from ?
I would like to change my Turbo also.

Glad to see a few others have joined me in the the GT2 look.

I have the rear wing as well and it just completes the look perfectly.

Go on , you know it makes sense !

The cost depends on several factors:
- a genuine plastic bumper or a glass fibre copy
- plastic or fibre glass top vent
- use existing turbo air ducts or buy GT2 ones
- use exisiting turbo headlight trims or buy GT2 ones

So the cost will range from between £1000 and £2000. You will definitely need Bumper, Left Grill, Right Grill, Centre Grill, Lower Lip Spoiler, Top Vent Grill and the rest is up to you. I used an independant in Dartford called Martyn Scott Tel: 01322 287164. Really good guy specialising in Porsche and Nissan. Mention my name if you call and he'll look after you.

Hi Jon, it was the picture of your car on your PH profile that inspired me to do it - thanks!

So, are there any other opinions? Should I go for the GT2 rear spoiler or keep my Turbo one?

Porsche will tell you the official line - that is the front and rear are tuned together - change one end and you have to change them both.

Of course this may well depend on whether you intend staying in the UK and sticking to a max 70mph, or heading off to Germany for a real test of the aerodynamics.

(So, is it show - or is it go? [;)] )
