996T suspension

Having looked at a beautiful GT2 at Oulton Park in early November, it reminded me just how much gap there is between the tyres and arches on my 996T.
I believe the GT2 has X73 lowered suspension which was an option for the Turbo?
As well as aesthetics, the GT2 (I'm told) has different lower control arms which should reduce the pattering and lack of front end grip at times and the s/abs height is adjustable?
I do not want to alter the ride quality by much but would like the gain in the looks and front end grip departments if possible.
Does anyone have an X73 kit or other suspension kit on a 996T that they would recommend - possibly H&R?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Kind regards
Simon

Hi, I have and X73 kitted 996tt and can highly recommend it.IMHO it transforms the car. It is far sharper, focused and positive with very little body roll, than on standard suspension. I supose the downside is that the ride is a bit jiggly on bumpy roads (but not uncomfortable) and the reduced ground clearance (-20mm from the standard 90mm) can sometimes pose a problem in car parks, speed bumps etc, especially with the Aerokit (XAF). However I am prepared to put up with these minor inconveniences for improved handling, after all it is a sports car.
Regarding front end grip, I find that compared to my previous C4 ( sports suspension), the ABS and PSM are always working hard when pressing on in the tt (particularly in the wet), whereas very rarely on the C4. I put this down to far more power (X50 kit),some extra weight and Continental tyres ( I am sure the Michelins on C4 provided much better wet weather grip).

Many thanks!
The -20mm is a compromise I can live with as I'm used to scraping over the speedbumps on my other car! I believe it's the same kit on the GT2?
Although the ride from the standard suspension is a bit jiggly too up to say 40mph and quite firm, I was really surprised to see how much it had compressed in a photo from a track day!!
I'm pretty sure it's the way I want to go as I'd rather stick with OEM parts.
Thanks
Simon

Ive just brought a 996tt with -20mm ramus kit (shocks and springs), im changing it back to standard. its just too hard for everyday roads.
Can anyone reccomend a good specialist dealer in the surrey area who could change these over for me?
