996tt swap for 993tt?

I'm more thinking out loud than anything else with this post but I've had my 996tt on sale and return now for quite some time and I'm beginning to tire of waiting to sell what I know is one hell of a nice example!

I've been offered horrible buy it now figures from various specialists and was shocked to find out what they consider to be a reasonable margin! This encouraged me to wonder if there is anyone out there with a 993 turbo who might be in a similar situation and with whom I could come to a potentially, mutually beneficial deal?

So if there is anyone out there with a well kept black 993 turbo who is perhaps looking for something lower mileage and a bit more modern with comforts such as sat nav, cruise control and heated sports leather that they could use more regularly. I have a freshly serviced and inspected, sub 50k mile car. Ready to go which looks and smells like it just rolled out of the factory.

I would offer the car and a suitable amount of cash your way to swap for my dream 993 turbo.

Please feel free to phone me on 07528 067284 if you want to talk further.

Regards,

Ben

p.s. I buy on condition not mileage but my only specific is it must be in black.

Wish you luck in finding what you're after, but not meaning to put a dampener on things, but 993 turbos are very rare compared to the 996 turbo. I think by limiting your px color to only black cars, you have probly reduced your chances from slim to impossible.good luck with the search though

I thought hard before adding it but like I said I was only thinking out loud, if I'm going to trade for a 993 it has to be my dream car.

If it's meant to happen it will. Otherwise I will wait.

Update. Phoned the garage today after the bank holiday. Before I got to mentioning about having it back he said they've got someone interested. Better wait and see how that plays out.

If it does go your way, settle on any colour, and just get the car wrapped in Black. Its gona be hard though, 993 turbo's, are an appreciating asset.
Im gona hold onto mine for dear life.

I know, I saw an absolute beauty on the M5 about a month ago. I forgot how beautiful the back end is with the melted spoiler. I wanted to follow him home and ask how much!

I don`t think we are that far away from the days when we can do a straight swap for a 997tt, not that I would want to swap mine after having it for so long.
