Not sure if this should be in the wanted forum or more relevant here. I have a small leak/hole in my nearside box and am looking for a replacement. So my question is does anyone who has changed there standard exhaust for a more sporty system have the silencers for the previous system gathering dust in their workshop and is willing to sell them?
I am not looking for anything other than the standard exhaust boxes as the rest of the system seems in good order.

Thanks for the reply I had spotted these which would be a bargain but unfortunately they are for a series 2 and I am advised cannot be made to fit a series 1. There were some series 1 boxes on eBay about a month ago but after bidding on them they were removed from the auction, very disappointing.

Sorry to have not seen this page earlier I have the original 997.1 exhaust in my garage loft having changed it for the PSE after about 3000 miles, didnt think there would be a market for it ,but it is taking up lots of space also can't remember how I got such a big box back from Porsche Swindon.

Rats!! You are exactly what I was hoping to find someone wo had changed their exhaust for a sports version and had the original gathering dust in the garage.
As you can see from my previous post I have just managed to source some replacements after lots of searching and many phone calls.
Shame, but it was worth a try timing was never my strong suit.

Hi,
noticed your post ref original exhaust might be up for grabs, if it is I would be interested.

cheers
