Well it's been 10 years looking for the right car and my 13th Porsche.

I am in love, 2 owner 11k mile, 2wd manual with aero kit and the GTS pack inside, very very rare Factory spec car.

HI Andrew, yes this will be a keeper, and I have BIG things planned, ordered £4k worth of kit already ;-) will do a build thread soon.

but the car was missing a SS and I have ordered a xpipe which works well on the .2's dfi engine. It will take me 2 years to do EVERY thing but £4k to make me a happy boy on stuff I feel it needs now.

Well done for being so patient D, and it sounds as though the wait has been worth it.

Look forward to reading about your modifications journey.

Hi. Beautiful car - certainly worth the wait! We chatted at the recent Wollaton event where I turned up in my near identical GTS and so I’ll certainly be tuning in to your upgrade posts. Looking forward to what you think of the xpipe once it’s been fitted. Happy motoring - hope to catch you at future events!

Looking forward to your build thread. Can't do much with mine at the moment as it's under warranty, but I'm thinking ahead to what improvements can be made.

At the moment, though, and in standard trim, I think it's a very usable car. There's nothing on it that shouts for a change, except maybe making the interior a bit less gloomy (basalt black with black alcantara interior). Of course the PCM is dated, but I've got that plugged into an iPod classic so not short of music. There's nothing worth listening to on the radio anyway, and DAB is useless (at least it is in my other vehicles).

i have a GTS with a klein exhaust fitted by the previous owner. I am looking to put it back to a more standard system with regards to appearance. Would you have any recommendations on which systems are good to go with/which x pipe you have ordered.

HI I am oem with a Miltek back box swap out which is a copy of the Sharkwerks one but only £500. and you cannot tell it's on the car as oem tips
