Just to update you from recent comments I had on brake squeal issues.

My particular problem is now resolved with an updated brake pad set for front and back of the car. Its a different part number to the original supplied, I can get the number if anyone is interested.

To recap, I picked up the new 997.2 PDK in March and at 600 miles the brake noise was unbearable. The new pad set was fitted and by 1300 miles the brake squeal has now cleared as Porsche OPC in Cardiff said it would.

It was a pretty disturbing experience but the OPC here in Cardiff really did work well to resolve with Porsche Reading. Now a happy man again.

Great car (trickie lights an 'al)

Hi Steve,
Would appreciate the part number if it's not too much trouble.

Thanks in advance
Eric
