I'm tempted to fit Milltek cat back system on my 997.2 turbo, has anyone fitted one, trying to figure out how much louder it would be.......ie too loud or a drone cruising at 70mph.

I had one fitted to my 2011 Turbo S, to me it was superb, not to loud, especially when just pottering about, but with sport button on and revving over 3000 it was how it should have been from the factory, great sound, no drone.
Easy enough to swop over if the need arises

I had a miltek system on my 996 turbo and wasnt that impressed. On my 997.2 turbo i've just had fitted the sharkwerks by-pass system and I'm very impressed. Chris at ABP motorsport in cheshire did the job and were great to deal with. Good noise on start up and acceleration but no drone on the motorway at all.

Mind you, to be fair - the OP did want to know about the drone at 70mph on the motorway, not what happens whilst you cruise past the Millenium Falcon shouting "you've been tango'd"!

Thanks Rob....you more than most are familiar with that scenario........[;)]
