997 body shape?

Sorry if these seems like an obvious question....I am lead to believe that all 997's have a wider rear end than the outgoing 96...is this correct. Also do the 97 turbo's and c4s get an even wider body?.

I was quite taken with the old 996 wide body but am now thinking of "holding off" untill the 97's come down a little in price...IF they have the more attractive body shape (attractive to me that is).

Cheers

The C4 and C4S have a 44mm wider rear than the C2 and C2S; also, the profile of the rear wings differs.

997 C2 1808mm wide 996 C2 1770mm .. 997 C4S 1852mm [;)]
