I know there is a fair amount of chatter on various sites and forums, I can't actually find the answer. Does anyone know for for cirtain if the Porsche junior seat fits well on the rear seat of a gen 1 c2 997 couple?

I have the recaro Young sport at the moment, it doesn't fit very well and I am losing valuable leg room!

Doesn't have to be Porsche, just need a good high back boaster for my 3 year old.

Thanks

struggling to upload a photo to the forum via my phone. here's a link to a pic of the Maxi Cosi Tobi in the back of my 997 C2s

Guy in Halfords was very helpful. spent almost an hour trying to squeeze in various seats. This was the most secure. I've removed the leather seat base that's velcrod on. Front passenger seat has to be put forward to give the little one in the back enough room for their legs. The maxi cosi doesn't have much room to recline too far, but still ok for my son to sleep whilst on a journey.

I have a Porsche Car seat which has worked fine when I had a 996, 997 Gen 1, 997 Gen 2 & now a 991, which fits perfectly in the front seat & back seat as it's shaped to fit. Also it's worked for son from when he first went into a front facing car seat at the age of 1 right through to last year at the age of 10 when he stopped needing a booster seat as the padded bottom bit of the car seat comes out to make a booster seat. So although it initially seems expensive it's been a brilliant investment & worth every penny. Not sure whether any of that helps but feel free to come back if you want to know anything else. Also I know a lot of people are obviously funny about second hand car seats but mine is now sitting in my garage all covered up with no real use to me so happy for it to go to a good home.

My children are 3 and 6. A year ago I removed both the bottom cushion as well as the back sports from both sides of my 997.1 and fitted the child seats in, we went around Europe like that but the seats tended to lean inwards towards the centre of cat. This year I ditched the child seats and put back the Porsche back rests and bottom seats. I then purchased two booster cushions in black from Halfords. The fit perfectly, no chance of making the leather seat cushions and due to the limited Hess room in the back they give idea positioning for both children with diagonal belt across their chests.

If your children are big enough I would recommend this method.
