997 C4S with Turbo wheels

Decided to put Turbo rims on the C4S, I think they finish the car off really well, and to be honest I hated trying to clean the sports design wheels!!...

And lastly...feel free to make any comments...the chap that fitted them thought they were awful!!, said he much prefered the wheels that came off. I think the turbo wheels are a love or hate thing, obviously I fall on the 'love' side of the fence!...anyone want a set of 19" sport design rims with C4S offsets let me know!

Surely with those tiny gaps within each spoke the turbo wheels are going to be even harder to clean?

I think I fall on the same side as you, they set the car off really well and also will be a bit more unusual than the normal rims.

Forgot to add, I think they really suit a guards red car, might also suit a black, with something like silver it might look a bit bling / BMW M3!
Neither gaurds red, nor turbo wheels are what I would buy, but I do like the combination on your car. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Ok as long as she washes it when she's finished [;)]. arn't the sides of the spookes black anyway?

Nice to see a red car, it makes a change form the usual greys, blacks & dark blues, (guilty of owning a seal grey Boxster[:(]) the normal stock at OPCs is as dull as that at the local MB garage these days! Ive been thinking (dreaming) of late that if (when) I went for a 997 it would be a red one.

You can guess which side of the fence I'm on [;)]
I've not seen them with the coloured centres before, so a bit unsure about that.
I've found my old car washing sponge cleans the spokes quite easily in one swipe ...[8D]
[] OH NO! My first post ever about cleaning my car.....[;)]

I saw my first Guards Red 997 in the metal the other day, on a dual carriageway as I was alongside, and I have to say, it looked good! Still haven't seen a speed yellow yet.

Reckon if I was speccing a new one now, I'd probably go with the combination you have - I love the turbo wheels! Well done.

Thanks for the comments chaps, we all have differant tastes so I appreciate all thats said. I was undecided about guards red, but this was the only car available second hand with the spec I wanted, powerkit, chrono pack,20mm lowered with diff & sports adapt seats. As we all know the specs are all so differant that to snag one as I wanted was a bonus. Now Ive had it a while I love the guards red...but to be honest my last cars were black, silver, black, silver etc, so I thought why not bring a bit of colour into it!!...glad I did now as I love the colour.
The wheel centres are off my old wheels, hence they are not chromed, so I think I need to get some correct centre caps, having said that I do like the coloured crests, and I havent seen any on the std chromed centres anywhere.

I am with the others love the colour and the wheels. I nearly wnet for the Turbo's on the997 order but l also love the 19" C2S wheels. Thought I'd start with those and maybe treat myself to Turbo wheels later.

I've gone for Basalt black for the 997 (finicancial controllers choice) - my previous 2 Boxsters were Artic Silver and Seal gey - my excuse is they had Boxster Red and Terracotta interiors.

Thanks for posting the picci's

Tom
