What - those bits of leather in the back are SEATS! I wondered what they were for....

Actually, in the Coupe and Targa they work quite well (for small people or short journies).

Yes, speaking seriously for once, I do use the rear seats for a 5 year old and a 3 year old, both of whom love the car. If I agree to take it instead of the alternative there is much excited jumping and shouting. Usual noise from the back is "faster, daddy, faster...". It is known as "Daddy's car without a roof". I am trying to teach them to pronounce Porrr... She.

But I did try sitting in the back myself. I say "try" because that doesn't infer any level of success....

I carried five in my 996 Coupe the other day!

A chap had run out of petrol on the M5 and was stuck with three kids in pouring rain. The two boys sat in the back and he sat in the passenger seat with the youngest on his lap, whilst I took them the couple of miles to the next services. All in comfort.

The rear seats in the cab are positioned differently and the back rest has no rake, to make room for the retracted roof. My kids didn't like it - too uncomfortable.
