997 Cruise control

This is my first post and I pick up my 2006 4S cab on Tuesday. I have been told by two OPCs that it is not possible to retrofit Cruise control on a 997 due to the throttle being Fly by wire. If any body knows any different I would appreciate advice. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply have you any idea how and where I might go about getting cruise fitted?
Although I am negioating for another car which has it fitted so I may have to apologise in advance for wasting your time. Thanks anyway.
