Aplogies if this has already been posted as i usually only hang around the Scotland area of the Forum. I just read this on Pistonheads Porsche section and i am wondering if you guys have any more information or can confirm with the following:-

Just been at Porsche this morning...gleaned/blagged this from them: -
Deposits (3-5K) now being unofficially taken for 997 Facelift car - for AUGUST 2008 Delivery.

1. DDI injection S models with standard 380 BHP, standard carerra now upto 350 BHP.
2. New Rear Light clusters, slightly narrower with LED lights.
3. New Rear Bumper/PU (think this has been well documented).
4. New Front Bumper/PU again this seems to be well known.
5. New Headlights.
6. New Standard and Optional Alloys.
7. New Touchscreen SAT Navigation System & Bluetooth
8. New DASH, apparently completely reworking of the Interior...more options

Last build slot for current 997 is April 2008. Apparently Porsche GB/Reading have a new car with
some or all of the above, under wraps for evaluation/feedback (their words not mine!)

[FONT=verdana, geneva"]I always find this Porsche 997 page useful for news & links - I think it's updated every day (there's new stuff on there every time I visit).

I don't have the 997 myself (yet!), I prefer the classic 911 style. although I'm sure a 997 would be much easier to maintain![FONT=verdana, geneva"]
