Took the plunge and had the new Aerokit fitted to my Gen II C4S.

Top class job done by Dick Lovett, Swindon.

Really pleased with the result:

Very smart.
Can you tell me apart from the wing which parts/panels are involved.
AND is it too vulgar to enquire re cost??

Thanks.

Kit includes:

Completely new front bumper with deeper lower lip
New front grills in black, although I had the original silver grills fitted from the old bumper
New rear engine lid
Fin assembly
New Fan and parts

Kit, painting and fitting was a few quid under £4K (Painting was a bit more expensive than it would have been, as I had the lower lip in matt black rather than the body colour)

[:D]

You may want to get yourself an unpainted lower lip though, as they are very very easy to scuff. Not sure if the fitting is the same as the GT3, but if they are the motorsport version is around £100. You won't be cursing every speed bump as much, when paint isn't involved and you start to see them as a bit of a consumable after a while.

enjoy it looks very nice

Great move - the car looks fab.

Like you I had the aero kit fitted after market on my car, the Gen 1 aero kit is very similar. It really enhances the cars looks.

The front lower lip is approx £100 to replace and does scuff, the aero kit seems to give more or less the same clearance as a GT3 so it does get scuffed and catches all sorts of things (Speed humps, steep drives, ramps for trains/boats etc). Keep a set of touch up paint in the lip colour and you can correct the worst of it, after a while you'll realise that most poeple won't notice the scuffing much at all.

Enjoy the new look[:D]

Looks really good but I do agree you will scuff the front lip on any small change in camber I caught mine today coming out of a petrol station very slight rise onto the road and a bit more paint gone forget the touch up stick you need a 1/2 pint tin !
I find it also picks up lots of stone marks mine is completely peppered not sure about yours Tom ?

Certanly improves the look of the car well done.

Geoff - the front of my car is peppered to death with stone marks. Mind you the plastic on the body kit copes better/shows less than the bonnet....[:D]

Robert - the car looks fantastic and I think the aero kit really sets it off. You've seen the comments on the Motorsport splitter and I've gone that route as well - not only is it less expensive than the regular splitter but it's made of softer material with more flexibility, so there's more chance that you just scuff it than removing it entirely on a speed bump! I find the black Turtle wax touch-up wax works pretty well to hide the inevitable scuffs (a job for today after a great SW Drive!)

Yep, but I paint my lower lip anyway. It looks so hottttttt! Chicks dig the GT-3 kit. I get more attention that the turbo. Too bad I don't have the power.

Terrific looking car. I have a GenII C2S Cabrio. I'm probably not going to change the front and rear as I use my car in London and I can't contemplate all the inevitable damage to my pride and joy due to "humps". However, I do want to add a different rear lid etc. I think the spoiler on the cab is similar to that on the Cab TT. Anybody seen any pics of one that I can view. The pics in the TEquipment Brochure are poor in the extreme.

Hi Peter

Thanks for kind comment on my car. I don't think the Aerokits can be fitted to the Cabrios....
