You are indeed a lucky man you must come along to the Glasgow meet and let us all drool over it ,as to the sale of your other cars good luck post some pics ...a Carerra GT I do not know of any in Scotland .

There is at least one CGT in Scotland, a guy in Edinburgh owns one. I saw him and the car in the Edinburgh OPC one day, salesman told me he was local, but don't know who it is.

How did you manage to get the car unregistered, opc Edinburgh refused to do this for me with my last GT3.

OPC Edinburgh had a CGT at the Cayman launch ...I believe it belonged to the owner of the Witchery restaurant in Edinburgh...but plse do not quote me ...

OPC's will hold back registration as long as they get paid for the car.

Appreciate that Gary, they have in fact done that for me in the past. However i understand that the owner is in posession of.. the car as an unregistered vehicle.opc Edinburgh refused to do this for me and when i phoned Porsche uk they confirmed this was the policy. You will also know if Viper green is the correct colour.Iam trying to decide my colour for the rs,and i thought it was just green not viper green.

The coulour is Green but I reffer to it as Vipor Green as it was the 73 RS coulour, I think? I think the orange had a name as well? I have paid the car in full two weeks ago and when I was at the OPC they put trade plates on the car to allow a test drive! they hold back the registration till you wish to register the car wich is this coming Thursday 1st March! Any thing is possible these days if you talk it threw, dosnt seem that big a deal wither delers allow you to wait a couple of weeks to register the car or not.
P.s. looking for 8k over list for the RS if any one is intrested and 78k fot the 2004 GT2!
