997 GTS

Got on loan a short shift manual GTS at the moment as my car has a loose trim panel that is being sorted by the dealer.

Been out for a nice drive today with another 997 and what a great car and model this is, nice sporty sound, a well balanced car, steering has a good feel and I dont know what the differences are with a standard s but it feels more direct and sporty in suspension and cornering, like a mini GT3 and is certainly fast enough across sweeping a and b roads, lacks that amazing overtaking warp speed though and a few corners were reminding me that it is RWD, but in overall terms very impressed and can see why people have bought these, great choice.

It really impressed me earlier in the year. [link=http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=601241]GTS - First Impressions[/link] Regards, Clive.
