The 997 carrera S gets its first drive from Mr Robinson in todays Autocar. He waxes lyrical "10-15% better in everything it does"[8D]

Starting to love it[sm=kiss.gif]

Me too - and it does look great in Speed Yellow.

....but does Peter Robinson really like the steering....or is he trying to convince himself to do so?

First reply to Spizz Oil, given that its delivered at the end of the year I reckon about £45k depending on specification. Mine has about £5/6k worth of extras, ie big wheels, extra brite headlights, hole in the roof, tight fitting seats, loud sound, cd multichanger, siver dials, bits of ally inside etc, I'm not very good at all the technical names for them !!!

And for Daro911

My OPC informed me that the first formal orders were being taken on 1st April and they would then require a deposit so I sent off a cheque asap in the hope of securing a car early on in the proceedings. I guess its the old expression about putting 'my money where my mouth is'.

Tim,

I think that you should get nearer the £49k to £50k mark. A couple of weeks ago I phoned one of the OPCs advertising in the Porsches wanted section in the Sunday Times. I was offered "around £48.5k" without the buyer seeing my car.
