Don't know what you mean?[] I think red might have been last year's colour with white making a come back too. For me there's only one colour of choice though........[]ORIGINAL: unclewinks
I am sure the red hand gang will be along shortly[]
Just to show how good it looks in the garage (both gone, sadly)
Standard colour on gen 2 997 and I think on 991 no?ORIGINAL: majorporsche
The reason there are not more rubystone reds is that it would cost £5000 plus as Paint To Sample.

Personally I think black is the new red...
Congratulations and look forward to seeing it at the weekend.

The 993 looked great in red, particularly as a Turbo - the curves of the model even as a standard Carrera helped here I think.
IMO 996s never really suited red and as a result you didn't see many.
997s looked great from the off and a number of press cars were supplied in this colour helping the 'Red' cause. Red was actually my first choice when hunting for a 997 earlier this year, and to answer your question on resale I'll quote from the Peter Morgan buying guide I purchased at the time - Beware of colours like Red or Yellow as these can be very hard to shift come resale time.
Rubbish - never mind difficult to sell, you can never find any! I searched for ages (within my price range) and when a Guards Red car did come up at my target year, it was often priced higher than a similar Silver or Black car and more often than not, didn't have as good a spec to match!
Go Red - you know you want to...
