997 Nav/Map upgrades

[h1]997 Nav /Map upgrades[/h1]My son has a 2012 997 4 GTS and is looking to upgrade the Nav can anyone help as to go about it .

[FONT=calibri"] Is it just a case of getting hold of the latest DVD and loading it? He has the PCM 3.1 software installed at the moment and I think the last upgrade I have was in 2013. [FONT=verdana,geneva"]
