997 - Options Prices?

My OPC have kindly sent me the new 997 brochure (A5 book) but no price list for the options (apparently not available).

Not sure if I want a 997, but it would be fun to price up various specs. Does anyone have a list of the options prices?

Yes, I am getting old.

Also, I think a sub-£50k 987'S' will be a better buy than a plus-£70k 997'S'

playthings that divert our attention from the sheer idiocy of the charade.

The years thunder by, dreams of youth grow dim where they lie caked in dust
on the alter of wealth..

Before we know it the tomb is sealed. Where then lies the answer? In choice.

Which shall it be? Bankruptcy of purse or bankruptcy of life?

The rear wiper, sunroof and metalic paint are all now options. In real terms adds £2k to the price. A bit mean, I think.

Philip I guess thats why most of the pre production and early test cars have been in Red or Yellow minus the roof ashtray and rear swiper []guess even Porsche press office were relunctant to part with extra cash for what should be standard kit

So a rear wiper is optional but a cupholder is standard?

To be fair the 997 Carrera does now come with 18" Carrera wheels (previously £784), PSM (was £681) PCM control module (although, without sat. nav./phone module!) the sound pack plus (was £424), all of which were optional extra's on the 996 (as was the sunroof, mentioned earlier.). In addition there are the other "evolutional" extra's (oil temperature guage, extra horses, new interior, bodyshell, steering etc etc).
