Hi,
Hoping Gary W will read this and support background to request.
A month ago I had a really enjoyable day pouring over the un released jaguar C-16X two seater organised by London Focus Group after Gary sent an email. They have contacted me this time and asked if I know anyone with a 5 to 10 year old 997/996, Boxster or Cayenne who lives near Hammersmith for another "event" in early Dec generous expenses paid. I'm not sure who is sponsoring this event but I think its about 2.5 hours required. Contact is Felicity McInnes please mention PCGB and my name. [felicity.mcInnes@londonfocus.net]
I think several other 997 members also attended the jaguar event and can vouch for the legitimacy.

Regards

Paul

I've sent this out via google mail, the last invite seemed to offer some very enjoyable members a good time out. [:)]

Thanks Gary,
Is Sutton Coldfield your local opc? , I found them very good to deal with when I changed the cayman for the big boy turbo S. Already driven a 5th of the total miles I completed in the year of owning the cayman in the week and a bit of having the Cayenne which is telling me something and had a chin wag with unclewinks before your weekend blast and the verdict was not enough rearward seat movement in the Cayman.

Have an invite to Notts opc for the 991 launch

Yes, Paul mentioned he'd met you at the OPC after his unfortunate puncture!! [:'(]
I can use Sutton and will be popping over to collect Pauls tyre for him.
I tend to deal with Solihull for service as they make contact, Sutton don't [;)] my cars is there next week, with me over there this week to look at a S [8D]

The last Jag focus group was interesting and as mentioned the expenses are generous for a couple of hours of your time. Pity mines only 4 years old

I wonder how many 5 year old 997 owners are out there and if so, do they drive their cars regularly?
Yes and Yes.... but not really near London..

I suspect a cheeky note of sarcasm from Derek there but I could be wrong. Thanks to Paul, I'm now booked into attending this one......fingers crossed it's interesting.

Excellent.. I did think most 997 owners were over 5years...[:)]

Went along last night and not that interesting to be honest. OPC's looking at 4 'new' ways to lure people back into the fold for servicing.........pretty underwhelming really.

Never mind, nice expenses and good company......nice to meet a few other PCGB members there.

Apologies for that one, they don't give many details when they recruit to the clinics. I would still recommend you get yourself added to the consumer companies books you never know what they might have next. Would also be interested to know how they will get us back into the showrooms (loyalty vouchers might be a start).

And the four ways were ?

Did this session tonight. I won't say exactly what was said, but I think if Porsche GB take what we said to heart and act on it, it could really make a positive difference to brand perception.

No need to apologise, these things are taken at face value.
Had it been another exceptional day- we'd all be gutted we missed out.
For the future of the marque it could be a good thing that people went who were not wearing rose tinted glasses, which I'm pleased to say seems the case.
