Gary is constantly frustrated at the lack of a suitable pen for the 997 glove box holder. However, help is at hand in the form of the 997 pen from Porsche Design, which as you'd expect is engineered beautifully and fits perfectly. And it's expensive !

This is the description from the Porsche website, click on the Driver's Selection Shop: "˜Ballpoint pen OR Rollerball in matt/gloss chrome finish. Based on the Porsche 911 design. Twist mechanism. Spring-loaded clip. Brass. Dimensions: 14.5 x 1.5 cm.
I've negotiated an exclusive discount from our club shop, £42.95 each so contact them direct on 01608 652 914 or clubshop@porscheclubgb.com. Offer available whilst stocks last.

All my secrets are coming out this week [:(] Firstly my sticker craze and now my pen addictions []....

Well done on this Rob, I will be ordering one- its one thing that racks me off.... they should at least of given us a pen that fits[:'(] Its not exactly a obvious size...
Only freebie I got with my car was the LED torch[;)] mind you that does fit in the ash tray quite nicely...

Still quite expensive but better than the cut down Porsche pencil I have at the moment :ROFLMAO:

Maybe though I'm the only one who has the same problem finding a pen to fit ?

and don't forget that torch[:D]

Being as I'm now being had on Road Tax in two ways;

1) I do actually buy/pay it [;)]
2) Top payment bracket, so I thought I may as well enjoy it [:D]

The pen is a Porsche one so will be light weight anyway [;)]

Gary

Is the Torch also a porsche one, i have been looking for a torch for my 997 and can only find a small mag lite to fit the ash tray. Could you let me know what one you have

Thanks

Justin

Hi All,
Torch, well VW Touaregs are supplied with a Torch which plugs into aux plug in centre armrest, for less than a tenner have one in the C2S and Mini (see pic) as for pen was given an audi A8 pen at a launch which looks the part and fits a treat never use it though as always have other freeby pens rattling in door pocket.

Kish, I'd surely get arrested for having one of those in my car []

The torch I was given is the LED pocket torch (S) WAP 050 155 17
It fits in the power socket to charge, but will fit in the ash tray without moving when not required.
Cost on the online shop is £24.00
