According to the official list prices:
997 Carrera
£58,380 in UK
£69,300 in US
997 Carrera S
£65,000 in UK
$79,100 in US
For the Carrera:
The dollar is weak at the moment, but is you allow an exchange rate of 1.6, which is the typical rate averaged over the last few years, then add 10% duty and VAT, there is only 2K in it. Bear in mind the steering wheel is on the wrong side, and you will not be able to sell it at the same price as a UK sourced car, and it is less attractive.
Use a 1.75 exchange rate, at the saving is over 6K pounds though, which is a bit more attractive, although you need to pay for the shipping (maybe 1500 quid?), you need to do some paperwork, and it may cost more to insure.
I also don't know if the spec is exactly the same.

It's not.
Leather is an option "over there". It's standard on 997 here isn't it?
