997 Rear Side Window Sun Shade?

Jamie Garside

New member
Noticed my son getting dazzled in the back this morning with the morning sun. Very uncomfortable for him so tomorrow I will put an ill-fitting rectangle sucker on blind which we normally use in the Audi however surely there must be a custom designed triangle shape bling on the market somewhere but I can't find one.

Any insights?

Jamie, I've not seen anything before...[:(]
I should imagine that Porscheshop and the likely suspects offer the best chance of finding something

I would see your son being a lucky guy being in the back of a 911 [:)]
certainly not the norm...

I've got some sort of shaped ones that I use on the side windows when parked - (the slopey-bit goes to the front and fills in the window better than the rectangular ones - and no rear side windows in a Boxster [;)]).
They are black mesh sucker-type ones.

Not sure where I got them though... Maybe in a French supermarket. But you can get them...

You could always put a bag over his head?

Just my friday afternoon handy helpful childcare anti-dazzle tip!

My lads were in the back at 20, you can wind the windows down for their legs [:D]

Yes, so not the norm....
As in you don't see that many children in the back of a 911 against say a mondeo which I'm sure lots of window blinds are available for..
