997 rear spring failure (snapped)

Hi all 2006 997 C2S with 50k right rear suspension looked lower after being parked for two weeks,the spring had snapped,any body else had this issue?

While it was parked?! There was a thread on here back in the winter about a 997 that broken a spring when it had an encounter with a pothole...
 
Sorry to hear..

I have a complete PASM suspension springs and dampers that came of my car in favour of a NEW techart suspension if you need any spare parts.
 
Not surprised with state of roads. I deal with a lot of garages locally to me and all are changing springs on every type of car they get in due to state of roads.Biggest seller with local parts supplier
