Anyone had a whole bunch of rain dumped on their laps from the roof of their 997s? I have a nice layer of swiss vax on my roof that beads nicely but large collections of rain droplets sometimes run off the roof into my lap as I go to close my door. A bit comical at work as most people think you have just p&ssed yourself[][]

Yes I have noticed that the roof draingage system is not all it should be...try opening you window a little when its raining as well ,you end up with a river running off the roof all over your electric window controls etc. Like you say go to a very wet car thats been stood and it seems you get somewhat wet getting in the car.
Another thing that annoys me is the windows themselves...you give the car a good clean and as yougo to open it the windows drop a little and you end up with those grubby streaks down them, god forbid you actually open them half way down. Porsche must make the hardest windows to keep clean!

You need to drive faster on your way to work - clean the roof of droplets[]
Leave the Air Con on auto 24/7, this will help de-humidify the interior and prevent steamy windows.
Try using wash-wipe on the windscreen with the window open, vehicle stationary, and a good trickle of water will end up inside, more often than not right onto the controls...
I don't remember this being an issue with the 996 so I'm afraid to suggest that not all has been considered in the design. Tut tut.
