997 Targa Colours

Hi all,
Am currently in the process of trying to sell my Boxster 987.2 in order to finance a 997 Targa but looking at those available it seems that all are either black or silver which are colours I don't personally like (my Boxster is metallic aqua blue). Can I ask what colours forum members have if not black or silver or if there's any info on what numbers of Targas were sold in what colours? It looks like if I wanted a 996 Targa there are a few blue ones available but am holding out for a 997 in a colour I like for now.
Thanks.
Dave

Solution - buy my 997.2 Targa 4S (Basalt Black) and for an extra £1,500 I'll have it wrapped for you in the colour of your choice!

Colour choice should really be dead last on your list of wants after Condition, History and Spec, but given the rarity of the Targa as a model it should be worth holding out.
Of the colours offered, the metallic orange looks particularly stunning, but there were a lot of blue cars sold, too. Good Luck!

For me colour is key and I'm going to hold out for a colour that I really like, it's one aspect I intend to not compromise on. Why would I buy a car I don't like the look of? Hopefully being patient will pay off and a car will come along, of course the other aspects you mention then come into play. I spoke with a dealer today about a possible car but was told that the owner had carried out his own servicing for the first 7 years so there was no service history stamped up. Sounds odd to me. He/she may have been a first class mechanic/engineer but it's not a car I'd consider.
