997 turbo alloys fitted on 996TT

Posted on here last week saying how I had purchased a set of replica 997 alloys and i had them fitted on saturday down in Birmingham and they look great IMO. What do you think?

They were made by Porsche Shop and they cost £900 including balancing and fitting.

Actually they didnt use any spacers.
Really like the silver and 997 alloys combo looks really good. I think those spoilers are growing on me as well.

what is the spoiler on the silver turbo?

Not sure what the specific name is for it but i think it looks quite nice. Just a bit more than the standard spoiler

I know - it was exactly the same on the previous wheels with that tyre - guy who fitted them said it must be the tyre - I thought it would sort it with new wheels but no

mmmmmmmm me like!! though i have seen a very nice gt2 rear spoiler witha carbon ajustable blade.......the carbon MIGHT look good with my car being seal gray.

i will post some pics when i get back from this *rappy rig!!

Personally I'm not in favour of mixing different models and wheels - such as 993 wheels on a 964. IMHO

i dont think it works on that model, perhaps cups or 996 turbo wheels, but not (imho) the 997 wheels.[:'(] 996 with 997 , fine! just as well as i have just bought 997 wheels for my 996.............

I think the problem is that the 993 in the pictures has no rear spoiler. If the car was a turbo it would look fine.

Yeah mate they are 18s - Im really pleased with them - going to put the original wheels on ebay in a week or so unless any body here is interested
