Hi, can anyone on here offer me some advice please?
I have a 2008 997 Turbo, when I bought it I swapped out the PCM head unit for a Pioneer Avic f88dab and up to now this has been great. However, recently I have been experiencing issues with the sound cutting out completely, the head unit all appears to be working fine there is just no audio. Sometimes by switching off the car and re-starting it the sound comes on again, but this does not always happen, yesterday I had no sound all day then this morning it's fine again. I have checked all the connections at the back of the unit and it all looks good.
I'm wondering if it could be the Bose amplifier as I know in other cars (Audi Q7's) they have been an issue.
Has anyone on here experienced similar problems?
Does anyone know where the Bose amp is located?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
