Prior prototypes have always had some disguise panels on front and rear, but these latest shots catch a prototype with hardly any disguise and for the first time with the top down. The test car has just a little tape on the front airdam and some silver colouring around the headlights. The Turbo's top speed is expected to surpass the current car's limit of 191 mph, and the 997 Turbo will be offered with a new four-wheel-drive system.

The most eye-catching features of the car are the shiny chrome linings around the side windows, the large glass roof and the all new alloy wheels. The new 911 Targa is expected to come to the dealerships in fall this year.
