997 Turbo Indicator / Side Light Unit Front - Faulty

The front right Indicator / Side Light Unit unit on my 2007 Gen 1 Turbo is failing. When the headlights are switched on the Indicator on the right is perminanty orange. I have been quoted over £400+VAT to purchase a replacement Porsche unit so before I do this wanted to see if anyone had experience getting these units repaired.

Alternatively would I be better off buying a left + right kit from design911 so both lights get replaced for about the same price as single OEM unit, there is also the benefit of DRL.
