997 Turbo launch: PCGB / OPC cooperation

Porsche Cars GB have again asked Porsche Club GB members to help in the UK launch programme for a model, this time the latest generation 911 Turbo.
As before, the form will be that earlier models of the 911 Turbo will be displayed at the OPC for the launch, and if you are interested in your car being involved, then please let your Regional Organiser know, as they are the people organising things at a local level on behalf of the Club.
What can you expect? I have no idea, having heard differing reports from previous events, which varied from " great fun " to " I don't know why I bothered". Given the nature of relationships, I suspect that some OPCs will be more inclusive than others, but it's a fair bet that your RO will have a far better idea than I do as to how much effort you should put into the exercise.
Look on the bright side - you should at least get a brochure for your troubles!
Cheers
John
